About

Christoffer Tolstrup is primarily engaged in M&A as well as company and commercial law. Christoffer assists in the day-to-day legal matter handling and is experienced in catering for clients within various sectors. He is often involved in providing advice to international listed companies. 

Christoffer advises on all aspects of an M&A process, including due diligence, negotiations and the drafting of transaction documents as well as the completion of the sale and purchase of businesses. He also assists clients in connection with negotiating W&I insurance policies as well as handling post-closing claims. 

Christoffer has been seconded to DLA Piper US in San Diego, where he obtained knowledge of US transactions and developed close relations to the partners at DLA Piper’s offices in California as well as to relevant US-based clients.

Recent highlights
  • Christoffer acted for Xero Limited on the acquisition of Planday, a provider of one of the most sold workforce-management platforms. The acquisition was completed in close collaboration with the DLA Piper offices in Australia, Germany, Norway, United Kingdom and USA. 
  • Christoffer acted for Dansk Ejerkapital and other principal shareholders on the sale of their shares in Danish Vetgruppen Holding A/S, a group of local veterinary clinics and veterinary hospitals employing approx. 200 people. 
  • Christoffer acted for Sonoco on the acquisition of Skjern Paper A/S, Denmark’s only paper mill. 
  • Christoffer also acted for Vistage Worldwide and its owner Gridiron Capital on the acquisition of Executive Global Network (EGN), which runs networking activities for approx. 16,000 members in 16 countries. 
  • Moreover, Christoffer acted for Michelin on the divestment of Euromaster Danmark A/S, a Danish car-repair and tire chain, to NDI Group A/S.
