DLA Piper advises the sellers of DermaPharm A/S on the sale to healthcare investor Archimed

DLA Piper has advised the sellers of DermaPharm A/S, a Danish market leader in clean and eco-certified skincare, on the sale of 100% of the company to Archimed, a global healthcare-focused investment firm headquartered in France.

Founded in 1980 and based in Fårup, Denmark, DermaPharm develops and manufactures hypoallergenic, environmentally friendly skincare, suncare and haircare products. Recognised for its formulation expertise, regulatory standards and strong sustainability credentials, DermaPharm holds a position as a leading brand within mild and certified skincare in Scandinavia, with distribution across retail, pharmacy, hospital and healthcare channels in Denmark and internationally.

With the acquisition, Archimed will support DermaPharm’s continued growth, including the expansion of its product portfolio and international distribution. Members of the management team will continue with DermaPharm and join Archimed as part of the leadership in the next phase of development.

The transaction provides Archimed with a strong platform in clean-label skincare and advanced product development, while positioning DermaPharm to accelerate its international growth and further strengthen its market leadership.

The sellers were advised by a DLA Piper team consisting of Michael Vinther, Jacob Sørensen, Sara Schjørring, Ida Boysen and Nicolai Lind Andersen.
